What we do
We carry the parts that actually strand trucks — tires, brake chambers, batteries, air lines, filters, belts and common sensors. If it can be fixed in the field, we fix it there and get you rolling instead of waiting on a hook.
Blowouts, sidewall damage, run-flats and slow leaks on steer, drive and trailer positions. We mount, balance and torque on site, and carry 22.5" and 24.5" casings plus a range of drive and trailer tires in the unit.
Typical call: 45–75 minutes on scene.
Slack adjusters, brake chambers, shoes and drums, air dryer cartridges, governor and compressor issues, line repairs and leak-down testing. We can pull a wheel end in the yard and have you back on the road the same shift.
Air leak diagnosis included with every brake call.
Batteries, alternators, starters, grounds, fuses and fault codes. We test the charging system under load before we sell you a battery — a lot of "dead battery" calls are a bad cable end or a parasitic draw.
Jump starts and battery replacement, 24 hours.
Oil and filter service, fuel and water separator changes, grease, coolant top-ups, belt and hose inspection, and a written condition report on the unit. Fleet accounts get a standing schedule so nothing gets missed between inspections.

Landing gear, lights and wiring, gladhands, mud flaps, door hardware, and reefer no-start calls. We work the trailer where it sits in the dock lane so your load stays cold and your appointment isn't blown.

Monthly invoicing, per-unit service history, and priority dispatch for accounts with more than three trucks. One number for the whole fleet, whether it's a cube van in Scarborough or a tractor in Vaughan.

Quoted before we roll, confirmed on arrival. Parts are billed at cost plus a set markup, and we tell you the number before we start turning wrenches. No after-hours surcharge on weekends.

404 Mobile Truck Repair and Tires started in 2011 with a single service truck working out of the 16th Ave yard in Richmond Hill. The idea was simple: most truck breakdowns aren't catastrophic, they're a tire, a chamber, a battery or a bad ground — and none of those should cost a driver a full day waiting on a hook and a shop queue.
Fifteen years later the unit is bigger, the parts inventory is deeper, and the phone still gets answered by someone who has actually crawled under a tractor. We work on everything from cube vans and box trucks to highway tractors and trailers, and we've done it in yards, on shoulders, in dock lanes and once, memorably, in a snowbank off Hwy 400 in February.
